Neurointerventional Team:

Our neurointerventional team is composed of Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Dr. Coleman Martin, Dr. Rebecca Sugg, Dr. William Holloway, and Jessica Hanrahan, RN. Dr. Akhtar and Dr. Holloway are neurointerventional fellowship-trained radiologists who bring expertise in diagnostic neuroimaging and in performing neurointerventional procedures. Dr. Martin and Dr. Sugg are neurointerventional fellowship-trained neurologists who bring expertise in medical management of cerebrovascular disease and in performing neurointerventional procedures. Jessica Hanrahan is the coordinating nurse upon whom the seamless operation of the team rests.

Appointments are made by Jessica Hanrahan, RN. She may be reached by telephone Monday through Friday 8 to 5 at (816) 932-2549.

New Patients

New patients should be referred by their primary care physician, neurologist, ophthalmologist or neurosurgeon.  On the first visit, patients should be prepared to bring medical records, a referral letter, and X-rays and scans.
