This 6 minute video demonstrates an angiogram (arteriogram) of brain. Catheter angiography is the basis of neurointerventional procedures. This video gives patients, students and the public a sense of how an angiogram is performed and the unique images provided by this minimally invasive medical test.


In this 5 minute video, a man in his 70s is discovered to have a partially blocked brain artery. Despite being placed on appropriate medications additional stroke symptoms occur. Using an angiogram procedure the blockage is relieved with a Wingspan stent.


In this 4 minute video, a woman in her 50s is treated with intravenous TPA. But, an angiogram procedure using the Penumbra clot aspiration system is required to open the occluded brain artery and successfully treat her stroke.


This 5 minute video demonstrates treatment of a brain aneurysm by coiling with models, animation and angiogram footage.


This 5 minute video features one of our patients who suffered a stroke while in the ER being evaluated for heart disease. His stroke was quickly reversed using the Solitaire system to remove the clot before permanent brain damage occurred.


This 8 minute video discusses Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIA) occurring in an otherwise healthy woman. Her TIAs were stopped with carotid stenting procedures demonstrated in this video.


This 4 minute video presents an unusual cause of stroke, clotting of the venous sinuses of the brain. This patient presented with severe stroke symptoms which were reversed by removal of blood clots from the venous sinus followed by blood thinning medication.

New Patients

New patients should be referred by their primary care physician, neurologist, opthamologist or neurosurgeon.  On the first visit, patients should be prepared to bring medical records, a referral letter, and X-rays and scans.
