As a neurointerventional operator I walk you through this recent case requiring stenting of a brain artery. In this 4 minute video, a man in his 70s is discovered to have a partially blocked brain artery. Despite being placed on appropriate medications additional stroke symptoms occur. New patients should be referred by their primary care physician, neurologist, opthamologist or neurosurgeon. On the first visit, patients should be prepared to bring medical records, a referral letter, and X-rays and scans.
